Applications to Ufuktek can be made at any time of year. Applications are reviewed by the scientific advisory board in an evaluation session held once a month; results are announced in an average of 15 working days.
Steps
- Preliminary meeting: A free introductory meeting is held with a zone management specialist; the project and team are briefly assessed.
- Application: Fill in the online application form and upload your project file (PDF).
- Evaluation: The project is scored on innovation, technical feasibility, team and commercialisation potential.
- Contract: A move-in contract is signed with accepted companies and a deposit is taken.
- Move-in: The office is handed over and a relationship manager is assigned to the company.
Required documents
- Project proposal form and a detailed project file (maximum 20 pages)
- Trade registry gazette and signature circular (if the company is established)
- Team CVs and R&D staff list
- Provisional patent or utility model application documents, if any
If a company is not yet established
Entrepreneurs can apply to the Girişim Evi incubation programme, provided they establish their company in the zone. During the programme, company formation support, mentoring and free office space are provided.
Result and appeal
The evaluation result is communicated by email. For unsuccessful applications the board's reasoning is shared in writing; the company can remedy the shortcomings and reapply after three months. For successful ones a draft move-in contract is sent with the same letter.
Time and cost
The average time from application to key handover is 30-40 working days. The application is free of charge; the first payment is the deposit taken at contract signing and the first month's rent.
